Day 1 - HARD! It was a crappy day and I wanted a cup so bad, but I resisted.
Day 2 - Hasn't been that bad yet!! I am determined to do this!
I don't practice a religion that participates in Lent, but my parents do and it is something that I have done every year since I can remember, but this year I haven't really cared about why. I now realize that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for my sins and that I should be willing to sacrifice things in my life. So I am sacrificing two of my favorite things until Easter - will it be easy? Probably not! But how easy was it for Christ to die on the Cross for OUR sins??
